“What are you good at? What is your passion…?” I never truly took the time to reflect on these questions in depth. I only knew that I am passionate about design and what I call “beautiful things”.

“Does that make me a designer?” I believe it leads me to think so.. 

 

“Design? What exactly...?” Through my graphic design skills that I practiced as a hobby for many years, lead me to countless hours of research and collecting a myriad of images which evoke beauty in my eyes. Very often these designs will resonate only with me, others fail to see the details that draw me in Graphic design has evolved to garments and fashion, to home interiors, garden landscape and recently to product design. For me, the essence of design is creation, it’s an undeniable source of inspiration in my life every day...

It is not easy embarking on the role of being your own boss. It requires discipline and self-reliance. Also, shifting being an introvert into a positive. I am always quiet in my approach. I don’t go out and to be loud about our services. I am determined to create a flourishing space for myself, and others, without the impediment of large bureaucracies so many of us have resigned ourselves from. The quality of the relationships in our lives matter, and the closer we can know who and what is not healthy for us, the closer we can know who and what is not healthy for us, the closer we will find the people who lift us up and share our passion for co-creation in life and work. This is the time to invest in timeless human practices of trust and relationships that help us thrive.

 

Becoming aware of oneself - our own motivations, purpose, beliefs, destructive emotions, and insecurities - is foundational to being an effective entrepreneur. A lot depends on our definition of success and failure, and knowing that to truly be innovative, we need to have a passion for learning. 

 

Talking and having a philosophy is no longer enough; you need to get your heart in the game and open yourself up like never before, as the opportunities out here are unlimited. So much more is possible with a healthy and balanced mindset. People are hungry to find others who live their passion and partner in healthy and timeless ways.
